Dr. Lauffenburger is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Ohio Optometric Association, the
College of Optometrists in Vision Development, and Wooster Noon Lions Club. She is also a presenter of the
Realeyes program, which educates school children on the importance of eye care.
Dr. Melanie (Kammers) Lang grew up in Shreve and graduated from Triway High School. She then moved on to The Ohio State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiological Optics, and her Doctorate in Optometry, with honors. After graduation, Dr. Lang completed a hospital-based residency in ocular disease at The Cleveland Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and then continued to devote a portion of her time to serving our veterans as staff optometrist at the Mansfield VA Clinic.

A graduate of Waynedale High School, Dr. Lauffenburger grew up in Apple Creek, and is the daughter of Jim
and Suzy Orr. She now lives outside of Orrville with her husband, Peter, and their children, Anna and Isaac.
Dr. Lang is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association and
volunteers with both Vision USA and InfantSEE.
Dr. Lang lives in Wooster with her four children, Isabella, Hayes, Mason, and Gabrielle. She is the daughter of
Sam Butler and Carol Warren.

Dr. Rebecca (Orr) Lauffenburger, a cum laude graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry,
also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Ohio State. Dr. Lauffenburger has long
maintained a special interest in children's vision and vision therapy, and at OSU received the prestigious Award
of Excellence in Vision Therapy.
